| Chach comfortably defeat West Bowling |

West Bowling won the toss and elected to field first on cloudy day. West bowling made a good start by quickly dismissing the opener and one down batsman. Mohammed Maroof had to retire hurt has he was struck on a finger which needed treatment.
Shahzad Butt (59) and Yasir Abbas (75) came together when just 10 runs on the scoreboard. They put on a 103 run partnership for the 4th wicket. Their partnership came to an end in the 30th over when Shahzad was dismissed for 59 and Yasir shortly followed with 75. With 10 over’s remaining Chach seemed like putting up a 250 on the scoreboard with wickets in hand. With some poor shots from Chach lower order batsmen meant they were restricted to 206 for the lost off 9 wickets.
West bowling bowlers all chipped in with the wickets with Baber Butt, Kamran Sadiq and Khalid Rehman all taking 2 wickets a piece.
Chach made a solid start when Yasir Abbas dismissed Khalid Rehman (opener) on the first bowl of his spell. Shahid Bashir was struck on the face by a short delivery from Yasir Abbas. Shahid who was not wearing a helmet walked on every delivery to play his shot. Yasir bowled a bouncer after realising that he was playing walking shots. Shahid struck on the face started to bleed and went to hospital to get treatment.
After Shahid’s retirement due to injury never looked like reaching the target set by Chach. They lost 5 wickets for just 57 runs on the scoreboard. N Hanif gave some hope to West Bowling. He hit some big sixes but the target at that time was too big and he was dismissed for exactly 50. West Bowling’s innings came to end when Baber Yakub took an absolute magnificent one-handed catch, fielding at short point, of Kamran Sadiq. West Bowling was bowled out for just 140 runs.
Mohammad Azad took 3 wickets for 30 runs in 8 overs despite his groin injury. Ijaz Shah took 2 wickets for 19 runs in his 9 over spell.
Chach won by 66 runs.

| Chach defeat Sheffield Alliance with an ease |

On a very warm day Sheffield Alliance won the toss and elected to bat. Sheffield Alliance openers were dismissed quickly by Chach bowlers. Sheffield Alliance made a slow recovery but kept on losing wickets regular intervals. U Azeem was the top scorer with 51. Baber Yakub was the pick of the bowlers for Chach by taking 3 for 34. Sheffield Alliance was 14-8 at the end of their innings.
Chach was set 150 runs target but lost both the openers quickly for just 18 runs. Naeem Khan (captain) and Shahzad Butt shared a partnership of 77 runs to guide Chach to respectable and winning score. Naeem was out for 15 and Shahzad Butt was shortly dismissed for 61. Yasir Abbas finally guided Chach to a victory with an unbeaten 31. I Mirza (3-35) was the pick of the bowlers for Sheffield Alliance.
Chach won the match by 6 wickets to stay in the top half of league table.

Sheffield Friends elected to bat first on a very warm and sunny day. Chach opening bowlers found it difficult to bowl on a batting wicket. Sheffield Friends opening batters made the most of the good batting wicket with a 78 run partnership, with S Younis top scoring with 58. Chach spinners slowed down the Sheffield Friends score with some good line and length bowling. Sheffield Friends made 204-9 in their quota of overs with Baber Yakub taking 4 wickets for 40 runs.
Chach started their innings extremely well with a 100 run partnership between Sajid Parvez and Shahzad Butt. Shahzad was dominating batsman, smashing the opening bowlers all over the park. Chach opening batters made 100 in just 13 overs. Shahzad was hitting fours at will with no sympathy for any bowler. The opening partnership was broken with Sajid Parvez being dismissed for 23 and shortly after Shahzad Butt was bowled for 81.
Naeem Khan (captain) and Inam Ur Rehman made a 50 run partnership and needed just 44 runs to win when both of them were dismissed. Sheffield Friends went for a final push and dismissed another 4 batters, they were in with a chance. Ijaz Shah kept his cool and guided Chach to victory.
Chach held their cool and won the match by 2 wickets. Chach are now fourth in the league table.

| Chach are knocked out of Taurus Sports Cup |

Chach are eliminated in the first round of Taurus Sports Cup by Shaheen Cricket Club.
Chach won the toss and elected to bat first on an excellent batting wicket. Chach batsmen failed to take advantage of the wicket which favoured the batsmen and regularly lost wickets. At one stage Chach were 5 wickets down with just 32 runs on the scoreboard. The wicket was overwhelmingly batsman friendly. The bowling was not exceptional but some awful shot selection meant the batsmen were quickly out.
Khalid Mehmood kept calm while wickets fell on the other end. Khalid was the top scorer in Chach inning with 47.
Mohammed Javed and A Amjad both took 3 wickets a piece to restrict Chach to 101.
Shaheen started off with a 40 run opening partnership. Once the opening partnership was broken Shaheen struguled to score the runs. Shaheen batsmen found it difficult to score runs of Baber Yakub (3 wickets for 10 runs) and Khalid Mehmood (2 wickets for 11 runs) and lost wickets regularly. Shaheen lost 8 wickets and Chach had an outside chance of winning but some very poor concentration and fielding from Chach players meant Shaheen won the match by 2 wickets.

Chach easily defeats Bradford Moor by 6 wickets.

Baber Yakub stars as Chach easily defeats Bradford Moor by 6 wickets on a cloudy day.
Bradford Moor elected to bat first on a wet wicket after winning the toss. The match was reduced to 40 overs a-side due to light drizzle in the air.
Chach bowled line and length and cheaply bowled Bradford Moor's top order. W Razaq (46), batting in the middle order, was the highest score for Bradford Moor. Bradford Moor were all out in the last over of their inning for 215. All Chach bowlers contributed with Ijaz Shah taking 3-33.
Chach chase started with a flurry of runs from opener Baber Yakub who made sure that Bradford Moor bowler's did not settle. Baber punished all the bowlers and hit some huge sixes. Baber was eventually out for 93, mere 7 runs short of a century. Baber's 93 insured that Chach were in a great position to win the match. Shahzad Butt made 45 not out at the end of the innings and make sure that Chach got 6 points out of the game. Chach reached the 215 target with 5 overs to spare and only losing 4 wickets. A great win for Chach.

| Taurus Sports Cup - Prelimnary Round |

Chach comprehensively beat Asian Lions by 80 runs in the preliminary round of the Taurus Sports Cup.
The match was reduced to 35 overs a-side due to weather. Chach made a solid start with both openers, Khalid Mehmood (53) and Baber Yakub (58), making half centuries. Chach was eventually bowled out for 185. The best Asian Lions bowler was Irfan with the figures of 4 wickets for 28 runs.
The weather got worse, from cloudy to light drizzle. The wicket got wet and Asian Lions found it difficult to chase the score. Asian Lions were bowled out for a modest score of 105. Asian Lion's batters found it difficult to play the Chach bowlers on a skiddy, wet wicket.
Chach will play Shaheen in the next round. Shaheen (153-6) beat Little Horton (149-9) by 4 wickets
