Chach Cricket Club is celebrating their first big achievement for 5 years. They have followed up their 2003 Section B promotion in the Quaid-e-Azam Sunday Cricket League by winning the Section B title. They clinched the honour in the second to last fixture against Lahore, even though the match was cancelled due to waterlogged ground.
In 2006, Chach avoided relegation by one point and since have improved dramatically. In 2007 Chach finished mid-table in the league and reached the semi-final of Riaz Khan & Co Cup when they lost to West Bowling.
This year (2008) Chach further improved their game and as a result they are promoted to Section A by winning the Section B title. Not only did Chach perform extremely well in the league but they were also quarter finalist in the Riaz Khan & Co Cup this year.

It was a tight situation for the second promotion spot. Attock West Bowling (2nd in the table) match was cancelled due to unprepared wicket because of poor weather. This gave a hope to Bradford Moor (3rd in the league) for promotion. Bradford Moor did extremely well to prepare the ground to get the match on even though most spectators thought the match should have been cancelled because the ground was too wet. Nevertheless, the officials thought the ground was playable. Bradford Moor situation was a must win and lose, cancelled, drawn match was not enough for promotion.
Bradford Moor was clear favourites to win the match but unfortunately they lost to Friends Cricket Club who is placed 7th in the league table. This meant that their promotion hopes disappeared. With Bradford Moors losing to Friends, Attock West Bowling won the second promotion spot from Section B to Section A.
